Things to Do, See & Eat

Marco Island has something for everyone.  A family friendly destination, Marco Island has many attractions and food options for children and families but is also a fabulous destination for couples, "ladies" or "guys" trips or anyone that just wants to sit back and relax on beautiful beaches.  Be sure to take advantage of the outdoors, rent a bike, go for a paddle board, charter a boat and do some fishing or see the dolphins.  If golf or a spa is more your speed, there's ample opportunity for that, too!  And with just a short trek, you are in Naples and Everglade City which opens up another host of activities and flavors.  Whether you decide to live like a local and never leave the island or venture to nearby areas, there are countless ways to spend your days and nights!

Marco Island

Sunny Marco Island is the largest barrier island within Southwest Florida's Ten Thousand Islands in the Gulf of Mexico.  Pristine outdoors, a tropical climate, six miles of sandy beach covering most of the West coast, marinas and golf courses, as well as 100+ miles of waterways within 24 square miles are only a few reasons to love it here. Famous Tigertail Beach Park has a tidal lagoon, popular for kayaking, paddle boarding, shelling and bird watching. Marco Island is a short ride from Naples and the Everglades and accessible by two bridges, With a permanent population of 16,521 and a peak winter season population of 40,000, Marco Island’s residents and visitors alike call this special Island ... Paradise.
